Ray Dargham is the Co-Founder and CEO of Step, the company behind Step SF and Step Conference — one of the largest tech and startup festivals in the world, running since 2012.
He started Step to build what didn't exist where he was: a place where founders, investors, and operators could actually find each other. Fourteen years and hundreds of companies later, Step has become the room where a lot of people got their first investor meeting, first customer, or first stage.
Ray is now based in Austin and focused on scaling Step SF, the company's San Francisco edition, into a defining event for the AI builder economy. He is also an active angel investor in early-stage AI startups. He was named to Forbes' Arab 30 Under 30.
